Auto electrical is a broad trade and most sparkies pick a lane. Scott works both ends of it: the museum piece with a blown V8 in the shed, and the family Prado that needs a brake controller before the school holidays.

The cars people are frightened to touch.
Old Holdens were never wired for what people put in them now. Scott builds the looms that make a modern engine live happily in a 1960s body: relays where they belong, fuses you can get at, and labels so the next person is not guessing.
He fits MSD ignition, wires up Wilwood setups, and does the same job on race chassis where the loom has to survive a lot more shaking than a road car ever sees.

Solar on the roof, lithium under the bed, an inverter for the things that need 240V and a monitor that tells you honestly what is left. Scott has been doing caravan solar for years, and the same thinking goes into a 4WD canopy: DC-DC charger, fused distribution, a switch panel you can read in the dark.
He also supplies and fits Redarc Tow-Pro brake controllers, and will move one across when you change tow vehicles rather than sell you a second one.

I have used Scott twice now for service work on two vehicles, including supply and install of Redarc Electric Brake Controller and 2 years later, removing it and installing in new vehicle as well as running additional 12V outlet off a VSR for campervan connection, via Anderson plug at the towbar.

You get Scott. That is the whole business.
No call centre, no rotating team, no being handed to an apprentice. When you ring S.S. Mobile Auto Electrics you speak to the person who is going to do the work, and he turns up with the van.
The reviews go back to 2020, and the same names keep coming back: one customer had him do work on two different vehicles, then had a brake controller moved across two years later. Another has used him a few times for caravan work. That is usually the giveaway with a trade, whether people call again.
He works Monday to Thursday out of Ipswich and travels to the vehicle. If you are not sure whether something is his sort of job, ring and ask. He will tell you straight either way.
